Dr. Willie T. Ong is a cardiologist at Manila Doctors Hospital and Makati Medical Center. He graduated from De La Salle University College of Medicine in 1992 and completed his training in Adult Cardiology at the U.P.-Philippine General Hospital in 1999. In 2000, he studied the History of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin and Adult Congenital Heart Disease at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2001, he finished his Masters degree in Public Health at U.P. Manila to look at the health problems of the country. Dr. Ong founded the Society of Philippine Health History, Inc. in 2003, the Co Tec Tai Medical Museum in 2005, and also co-founded the Movement of Idealistic and Nationalistic Doctors in 2005. From 2001 to 2005, he was a regular columnist for the Manila Bulletin, Health and Lifestyle Magazine and Sino-Fil Daily. He has written 8 books including the Medicine Blue Book and Cardiology Blue Book.

   Dr. Anna Liza R. Ong is a graduate of De La Salle University College of Medicine in 1993. In 2000, she studied Nutrition and History of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin. She is the publisher and co-editor of Medicine Blue Book, Cardiology Blue Book and 6 other medical books. She lives with her husband, Dr. Willie T. Ong, and their two daughters, Anjelica and Catherine.
